Artist Live / Work Community now forming
We am putting together a group of artists interested in owning their own live / work space as part of a newly forming collaborative community in the central core area of Graton. Participation from the beginning will help individuals to create equity and lower initial investment requirements. Please contact if interested.
a few details:
- size requirements - both studio area and living area will vary with each participant.
- those interested in participating in the project will form a group to act as the owner / builder.
- this group will take the project from conception to finished construction.
- when the construction is completed ownership of the individual studios take the common form of a condo or town home.
- the group will participate in all aspect of the projects development,
- the live/work studios with be located in an environment that will allow for public access to the artists work - if desired.
- the project will be a zero net energy development - with sustainable materials, energy and water conservation being an integral part of the design.
- the timing for the project to be completed will be about 2 years from formation of the group to move in.
